Half the fun of wild mushrooms is collecting them. Join the TruffleZone crew on a wild mushroom or truffle hunt! Some people are not satisfied with just receiving wild mushrooms in the mail. For those adventurous persons, Trufflezone offers excursions into the backwoods of Oregon to learn about wild mushrooms and personally collect these gourmet delights.

Now booking for Winter of 2005.

We will take you mushroom and truffle hunting for a few hours or a few days. Our packages are individually tailored to the tastes and requirements of each client. Trips to the East or West side of the Oregon Cascades; the Oregon Coast; or the eastern slope of Oregon's Coast Range for truffles, matsutake, boletes, chanterelles or numerous other mushrooms. Let us know what type of mushrooms you desire to locate and we will plan a trip for you. We can suggest accommodations at bed and breakfasts in Oregon's mountains or wine country, local motels or rustic cabins or yurts in Oregon's beautiful state parks. Sample your own catch and learn how to prepare your own gourmet mushroom delicacies or visit some of the best restaurants in Oregon and enjoy mushrooms prepared for you by experienced Northwestern chefs.
